Signing my Three-book Scholastic Contract!!!

At last - it's signed and in the mail and I'm getting around to posting pictures!

It's a strange and wonderful feeling after so many years and years and years . . . I still can't *quite* believe it.

Maybe when the check gets here and I make that trip to the bank, ha, ha!

First Page . . . I know, I'm such a tease on those Advance details on Item #2.

Don't forget to put your Jane Hancock on all 4 copies!!!

Don't look at the dying Valentin's Day roses . . . or the messy house background, ahem.

Feelin' the Contract Love, people.

My Purple Contract Signing Shoes! I've always wanted purple shoes - and I splurged.
Feels good, baby! But I can hardly walk in 'em. ;-D

If I had three thumbs I would have used them, hee, hee!

Look what I found underneath my pillow!

Dreams can come true . . .

I don't even know you and I am SO HAPPY for you. It's a little like seeing a child -- ANY child -- eat a green vegetable willingly. It doesn't matter that it's not my child. It's still really good. And to see your success also is just a really nice thing. Congratulations and I'll look out for you in the bookstore!

Thank you SF! Yes, it's pretty incredible. I'd like to go dancin' in those shoes, but I'm afraid I'd break a leg. Literally.

Francesca, thank you SO MUCH for posting! I'm always glad to meet new writer friends. It's always an interesting thing how people find me . . . did you come by way of someone's else's blog? Curious minds want to know . . . :-D

Ahhh ... those are such fun fotos! Congratulations! You are such a beautiful lady - inside and out - and I'm so happy for you. Please don't forget me when you become a famous author! ;-)

Btw, LOVE the purple shoes and your HOUSE! It looks like such a warm, inviting place.

Christine, what a sweetie you are!

And what a wonderful compliment about my house, too, (despite the crooked curtains, shoes on the floor, clutter on the counter tops.) Truly, you made my day!

YOU are a beautiful young woman - who will SOON be published, too! So don't forget about me either! Couldn't resist.)

This is SOO exciting! What is under the pillow? I can't tell...

Great shoes and I am over the moon excited for you!

Way to go! Well deserved!!!!

Kimberley Griffiths Little said...

Thank you so much, Katie!!! (It's the contract under that pillow, the white papers weren't a big enough contract against the same color blanket. ;-D)

Hope your SCBWI weekend was great - looking forward to reading details!

Fantastic!!!! Congrats.

Can I borrow those magical shoes?

Kimberley Griffiths Little said...

Thank you so much, Jill! That's very sweet of you to post - and you're an agent plus a writer - totally cool!

I'm sending you the Spirit Of The Shoes - I just hope you can walk in them better than I can!
