Kate Hannigan "found" me several weeks ago after reading my new book, When the Butterflies Came, and asked me if she could do an interview. Of course, I said yes! I'm always flattered and honored and especially when it's with someone as sweet and friendly and fun as Kate - and I love making new writer friends around the country.

Kate Hannigan

Kate is a former newspaper journalist who now works as an online editor and writer. She is the author of the forthcoming middle-grade novel and cooking caper "Cupcake Cousins" from Disney-Hyperion (May 2014) and the historical fiction "The Detective's Assistant" from Little, Brown Books for Young Readers (April 2015).
