Near the bottom is an example of the fabulous French pastries we ate every day.
The awesome thing was, we walked so much for those two weeks I didn't gain a single pound even though I ate these every day.

Hi Kimberley,
It's great to hear from you. Thanks so much for the blog comment. I just took a look at your pics from France. How beautiful! I'm jealous. Ed and I went to Paris for a week last year and I want to go back. Take care for now. xo april
We were so lucky to travel around all of France. It was great - and the best part was speaking French with the shop and restaurant people. Such fun. At least we could a little. ;-) I'd love to go back one day - without the high school kids. Just hubby and me!
How fun you've been recently! I haven't been since my mission, 95-96. How fun you're writing a romance in Paris! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Nice to "meet" you, too. How did you come about learning French?
Actually, it's been a couple of years. Still saving up my FF Miles to go again!
I took French in high school and two semesters at BYU. Which has been a very long time ago now, but I brushed up on it before the trip and watched French in Action video tapes. My husband and I studied our dictionaries on the plane over, too. He knows Spanish from his mission and picked up French very quickly.
